Why Recycle Your Old Laptops with Whale IT Recycling?
Recycling old or used business laptops is the best choice. These devices contain valuable and rare metals that, once recycled, can be reused as raw materials for new devices. Additionally, old laptops also contain hazardous components, such as batteries and screens, which include substances harmful to the environment. To prevent environmental damage, it is crucial to recycle them through a WEEELABEX-certified company like Whale IT Recycling. We ensure both secure data handling and environmentally responsible disposal of hazardous materials.
Give your old laptops a second life
Are your laptops less than 8 years old and still in good working condition, but replaced by newer models? They may be eligible for buyback by Whale IT Recycling. Instead of paying per kilogram, we purchase them as functional devices at a higher price per unit. Your old laptops are then thoroughly checked, data wiped, and resold, making the process fully circular!

Why is an old laptop valuable?
A laptop contains valuable (precious) metals that can be recovered through recycling, making old laptops very valuable! To extract all the value from laptops, it is important that they are recycled properly. At Whale IT Recycling, we do this through manual dismantling. By manually dismantling old laptops, we can separate dangerous components and disassemble the various components. The battery and screen are sent to other specialized recycling companies, and the circuit board is processed at a refinery to recover precious metals like gold and silver.
